Hunter Extension in medium gray is specifically designed for the hunter exhibitor. The ratio of gray/black hair to white hair is approximately 6:2. The ratio of black to white can be increased to create a steel grey extension. Steel gray extensions generally include small amounts of brown hair. The Extension averages 40"-42" and has a small tapered top to fit snug against a horse’s tail bone. The Extension is highly flexible designed to move naturally over jumps and on the flat.
